Pregnancy Update
It’s been a few weeks since my last posting, but to be honest, not a great deal has been happening, except the fact that my belly is getting bigger. I’ve been to see my midwife (last week) and all is going well. Just a few things to note:
- I’ve been a bit tired and a little run down, so keeping an eye on that and getting to bed early.
- I’ve been doing yoga and having a shiatsu Japanese massage roughly every 3 weeks at the Shiatsu College in Melbourne.
- Still having pregnancy supplements and taking Spirulina (which in my opinion is a super food).
- As this is my second pregnancy, my ab muscles aren’t as tight as they used to be. They were stretched in the first pregnancy. So my midwife suggested getting a pelvic/belly belt that helps support the pelvis area. Otherwise if I let it go, then I could potentially feel pain in the abdomen, lower back and pelvic area, so it’s worth getting. I bought one on Ebay for about $20. I’ll let you know how it goes when I try it out.
I’m still maintaining a positive outlook and very excited to meet our little man, Urijah. I have approximately 10 weeks to go.
